LEARN TO WEAVE ON A FRAME LOOM

Over a weekend you will learn how to use a tapestry loom to create your own placemat or mini rug. This course will teach you how to thread up a tapestry loom, create patterns as well as how to start and finish your weaving. Providing a great foundation in weaving basics.

By the end of the course you will have learned how to use a frame loom, lots of techniques to create patterns and textures using pick up sticks as well as how to finish your design beautifully.

There will also be the opportunity to try weaving on a rigid heddle loom, learn about different loom types and techniques.

9 teaching hours over 1 weekend

HOW OUR CLASSES WORK:

Our weaving weekends have a tutor:student ratio of 1:8.

Tuition is given on an individual basis at each student’s bench to ensure a fully COVID-secure working and learning environment.
