MAKE A BAG
Make a useful and stylish bag in this beginner’s sewing course. Choose from two different designs – a tote bag or a roll-top rucksack.
In this course, we will walk you through all the steps involved in making your own bag and build your sewing confidence. Learn how to set up and use a sewing machine, follow a simple pattern, add straps, linings, pockets, and hardware
Choose to make your bag either from new fabric (we can advise you what and how much to buy) or upcycled textiles or garments. Suitable items include jeans and curtains.
Gain a strong foundation of sewing skills which you can then apply to future projects. At the end of your course, you will be able to start making for yourself at home or progress onto our Garment Sewing Classes and further build on your skills and confidence.
