LEVEL 2 PRINT MAKING
The natural progression from Lino Printing for Beginners, this course builds on the skills taught at level 1, focusing on making prints with multiple layers using different techniques, and learning how to make your own registration template.
Classes are tailored to individual progression and you will have the opportunity to experiment freely.
Design & execute your own projects with guidance from our tutor Ruth.

- Reduction printing with all layers printed from the same block
- How to ‘register’ your layers
- skills that will enable you to advance your print making at home
2 – Open to all but best suited to anyone who has completed our Lino Printing for Beginners course or has some printmaking experience
COURSE TIME OPTIONS:
Monday evening classes 6.20pm – 8.45pm
Evening classes are consecutive with breaks for academic half terms

INCLUDED IN THE COURSE FEE:
Tutoring, tool use and inks – once you choose your project there will be a small additional charge for the materials you require. For example, a tote bag would incur a £5.50 materials charge.
If you would like to bring your own cotton fabric or clothes or other materials for your project that’s absolutely fine – just bring them along to the first class so that the tutor can make sure they are suitable.
HOW OUR CLASSES WORK:
Tuition is given on an individual basis at each student’s bench to ensure a fully COVID-secure working and learning environment.
