Consolidate and build on the skills learnt in your Sewing for Beginners course by undertaking a project of your choice supported by your tutor in this guided class. We will help you choose an appropriate project for your level of sewing, guide you through pattern and fabric choices and help you to make your project.
Produce a handmade garment, accessory or homeware item you will be proud of and gain the confidence to start your own dressmaking or other sewing projects at home.
- How to follow a pattern
- How to choose appropriate materials for your project
- How to cut your pattern pieces
- How to sew darts and fit a garment

Sewing projects vary a lot in the time in takes to complete them and the number of classes you require will depend on your project and work speed. Once you join a class as a sewing projects student you have the option to stay in that class for as long as you like.

HOW OUR CLASSES WORK:
Our sewing classes have a tutor:student ratio of 1:8. They are mixed level, which means there may be people in your class working on different projects to you.
Tuition is given on an individual basis at each student’s bench to ensure a fully COVID-secure working and learning environment.
