Jenny is a woodwork enthusiast with a background in bespoke furniture making, in particular with reclaimed hardwoods. She is an experienced woodwork joinery tutor, working for both Bristol Womens Workshop and Bristol City Council Adult Learning Service, and is passionate about teaching skills and getting people making here at The Makershed.
Ali lives and works in North Bristol as a successful woodworker, decorator, designer and has been a woodwork tutor for the last 6 years. She has a BA (Hons) in Textile Design & Surface Decoration from The University Of East London and over 20 years experience as a graphic & website designer.
Fern is a woodworker and maker who enjoys creating, fixing, salvaging and reusing all kinds of useful and decorative things. She has a background in working with young people and people with support needs, and runs creative and practical workshops for both children and adults.
Fleur studied photography, film, art and media before surface design in London. After learning from upholsterer Amber Russel in Devon, she started taking on commissions and worked for design classic specialist Anne Bruce in London. She completed the AMUSF course at Tresithick Upholstery Training in Cornwall and now has her own workshop in Bristol.
